CNR-IASThe test was conducted and certified by IAS-CNR in Genoa, Italy. “The product Aliquid Biopaints Marine for antifouling use (biocide-free)' was found to be completely non-toxic to Amphibalanus (Balanus) amphitrite (Darwin, 1854) Aliquid does not release toxic products into the water against three organisms representative of the marine ecosystem. Under the experimental conditions applied in this study, and for a maximum immersion duration of 4 months, this formulation proves to be an eco-friendly alternative to traditional biocide-containing paints."
